Specialists Alison Weisz and Sagen Maddelana are U.S. Army Active Duty Soldiers assigned to the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit International Rifle Team at Fort Benning, Georgia. Sagen and Alison are colleagues, roommates and friends who have just returned from the Tokyo 2020 Olympic games, representing Team USA in the 10 meter Air Rifle and the 50 meter Three Position Smallbore Rifle events. Host Dr. Ron talks with both Military Olympians about what brought them to this unique and intense sport, what drives them, about the mind-body connection, nutrition, and how they connect with others and each other.
